Do you or a loved one feel overwhelmed, anxious, sad or stuck in a difficult season of life? Are past experiences affecting your present and making it hard to feel safe, connected, or at peace? You don’t have to go through it alone.
Hello, I’m Andrea, a therapist with advanced training in Clinical Neuropsychology and a deep commitment to supporting emotional healing in children, adolescents, adults and families. I am a bilingual therapist, providing therapy in Spanish and English. I offer a safe, supportive, and culturally responsive space for the Spanish-speaking community. I have had the opportunity to practice in Colombia, Mexico and the United States, working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
My clinical experience includes the treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma, sexual abuse, domestic violence, intimate partner violence, addiction and complex emotional difficulties. I also have experience working with highly vulnerable and underserved communities, which has strengthened my trauma-informed and culturally sensitive approach.
As a neuropsychology clinician, I specialize in the assessment and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders, including ADHD, learning difficulties, executive functioning challenges, attention problems and other cognitive and emotional conditions that impact daily life, academic performance, and overall well-being.
A significant part of my work has been crisis intervention. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I worked on a direct 24/7 crisis hotline in Yucatán, providing emotional support to individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and acute emotional distress. This experience strengthened my ability to provide calm, grounded, and effective support during moments of crisis.
In the United States, my work focused primarily on supporting adolescents and their families within the Spanish-speaking community, providing therapy in Spanish as the primary language of care. I worked with youth ages 12–17 from diverse backgrounds, helping them manage emotional, family, school and social stressors. I also collaborated closely with families to improve communication, strengthen emotional connection, and support healthy development
I work with children (5+), adolescents, and adults, using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), mindfulness, and other interventions tailored to each person’s needs.
I believe healing happens in a space where you feel seen, heard and understood without judgment. My goal is to help you build emotional tools, strengthen resilience and create a more balanced and meaningful life while honoring your story, culture and values.
