I joined the Hope Springs team with a Bachelor of Science in both Psychology and Sociology and more than seven years of experience in customer service. My first job was as a cashier at Schnucks Grocery Store in Savoy and I stayed there for five years being promoted to a Service Center Representative at the Customer Service Desk. I then moved into the cooperate job market and worked as a Claims Representative at State Farm where I helped people with their car accident claims, and last summer I spent as a tour guide for the Anita Purvis Nature Center in Urbana, handling the animals and educating the families and guests that came into the center.
For as long as I can remember, I knew that I wanted to help people and these job experiences have guided me and improved my sills. This is why I chose to go to school and major in a field that has always interested me and would help me reach my goal. I am planning on continuing my education in the future to get my master’s degree and working for Hope Springs brings me one step closer in helping people in the mental health field.
