Hello! My name is Emily, and I’m a therapist with HopeSprings. I work collaboratively with my clients to address a variety of emotional and behavioral concerns, including trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and LGBTQIA+ identity exploration. I work to create a warm, safe, and healing environment where clients feel valued, heard, and supported in their journey.
I utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. For younger children, I incorporate play therapy techniques, which allows them to express and process their emotions through art, storytelling, and imaginative play. For older children, adolescents, and adults, I draw from Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Person-Centered Therapy. These methods help clients build healthy coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and develop resilience. I believe in a client-centered approach, working together with everyone to create a treatment plan that is both empowering and supportive.

I understand how profoundly family conflict, identity development, and social pressures can impact young people. I am passionate about supporting you on your journey toward becoming a healthy, confident individual. I also work with families to strengthen communication and relationships, helping parents support their children’s emotional well-being in meaningful and lasting ways. I believe that hope and healing are possible, and I can’t wait to meet you.
