I am delighted to serve as the Intake and Billing Coordinator at HopeSprings Counseling Services. I obtained my master’s degree in Public Health from DePaul University, where I gained extensive knowledge on community health and health care administrative practices. I have been working for more than 10 years within the health field, delivering and coordinating mental health and behavioral support services alongside children, adolescents, young adults, and families within the surrounding community that are experiencing physical and/or mental health needs as well as developmental and/or behavioral needs. I have provided direct intervention services through wellness coaching at Cunningham and high-fidelity wraparound services as a care coordinator in other agencies within the Central Illinois communities. These experiences have allowed me to collaborate with youth and families within a variety of environments to provide behavioral interventions and/or support services, facilitate and coordinate family teams to provide a wholistic care approach for youth in the community, and develop strong relationships and connections within the community among individuals and families I serve as well as community partners I have had the pleasure to work alongside.
While serving as the Wellness Coach at HopeSprings Counseling Services, I strived to deliver strength-based and comprehensive services to multiple youth and families. Throughout my time working with community partners, I gained extensive knowledge in working alongside families, providers, and stakeholders to develop a family-focused and team-based plan of care that identifies strategies, providers, and resources that coincide with the need of the family and youth. While doing this, I have been able to become educated and trained on client engagement and financial needs and tasks. I have spent a great deal of time building better relationships and partnerships with many health care organizations. It my belief that very little progress will occur if no collaboration among providers exists. That is why I have always and will remain a strong advocate for collaborative, dependable, and comprehensive care.
