Hi there! My name is Jasmine, and I am one of the therapists at HopeSprings. I recently graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Master’s in Social Work with a clinical focus in Mental Health. During my grad school journey, I dived into the world of therapy, working with children, families, adolescents, and adults, tackling PTSD, anxiety, anger, depression, grief, and adjustment issues. My experience has provided me with skills in applying therapy approaches that are person-centered, strengths-based and family-focused. It has been a rewarding time working alongside those families and individuals, and I am also committed to working with you! My commitment to enhancing therapeutic outcomes is further strengthened by specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI).

Therapy is a form of collaboration. I believe in meeting you where you are because your journey is uniquely yours. Picture me as the guide in your mental health adventure – I’ve got the maps; you’ve got the stories to make the experience worthwhile. I am here to provide a safe and supportive space where we team up for your growth. I will focus on helping you understand your strengths and your relationship with your environment. I am excited to be a part of your journey towards positive growth.

Education: Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Clinical/Community Concentration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Master of Social Work with a Clinical Focus in Mental Health from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
